The SensDesk v2 is ready for launch. We have completely redesigned the SensDesk portal and added many new functions to make it the best IoT portal for all your monitoring needs. In this newsletter we would like to walk you through the major changes in the new version. The upgrade will start on the 27th of February at 7AM Central European time. You will be notified via this newsletter when the update is done. No action is needed on your side. Here is what you can look forward to. |
New design and dashboardIt does not matter how many sensors you have - the new Dashboard will always give you a quick overview of what's happening. You can see all the alarms and warnings at a glance now. The last changes are listed below the main overview so you can see what happened. More details always available at just one click. |
New Devices pageWe have redesigned the Devices page to show you a quick status for each of the devices you have. You can also use filters based on device type or device family. |
|
New Sensors pageThe Sensors overview now also makes it easier to see all your issues. You can filter the sensors and sort them based on various parameters |
Brand new graphing engineWe have completely changed the way we use and generate graphs. The system is now much faster and it allows multiple sensors in one graph. It also allows you to see your safe range and problematic values at a glance. It can go into any detail level you need. You can also do advanced exports of the measured data. |
LocationsYou can now locate each device and see all your events based on where they are happening. You can even use sublocations for sensors to identify floors, rooms and other types of locations. |
|
GroupsNeed more sorting options? No worries, groups have you covered. Adding a device is just a matter of a few clicks. The device can be in more groups at once. |
The SensDesk will start on the 27th of February at 7AM CET and it will take about 2 hours. |
Update detailsThe system update will take about 2 hours and the SensDesk will not be accessible during that time. The portal will not take measurements from any device. Your existing devices and data will be transferred to the new system. The data measured during the upgrade will be lost. We will do our best to keep the update window as short as possible. The upgrade will change the XML format and if you are using a third party XML integration, there will be no backwards compatibility. |
